Would it be weird to practice social skills or pick up girls at the mall or local flea market?
I'm just starting to get over social anxiety but want to start the second semester as a new person in high school. Would it be awkward to go to the mall or flea market to practice social skills or find a date? If not, then how would I go about doing it? What would I say? What if they have a bf and I get in a fight? I'm 15 m. Any other way to practice social skills or get a date?

thats a pretty common thing for someone your age to do. ask if they have a bf so you dont waste your time and so you dont get beat up. and you arent limited to malls and flea markets, any place will do if you see the right girl/

No, you got it. The other thing is to look it all up online. The people who are best at it seem to have some great websites and free advice. You learn from the best teachers that way and they all recommend practising just that way, but you need to get the information to practice it. You feel a lot better having some things to try rather than winging it.
