Im new to instagram and I want to have more than 50 followers on instagram. How can I get followers without paying for them?

Omg, I have 17k followers on Instagram. What I did was enter contests, and be nice to my followers.

Try to post good quality pictures and stick to a theme. My account is @greekgogurts and IM on the comedy side, I only follow comedy blogs and post comedy.

- Use tags - look up the most popular tags on Instagram and use those.
- Ask people for shoutouts.
- Comment on popular pictures
- Post pictures that people will like - do they really want to see pictures of everything you eat (that Happy Meal, those pretzels?)
- DO not post too much - best not to post more than three times a day. If I see someone spamming (posting a whole bunch) I usually unfollow them.

Usually you just follow people.
Some are willing to follow back.
Or use hashtags in your photos, they'll get you likes AND sometimes followers.
But if you want followers, you have to make the effort to follow some yourself.
There's also people who write 'I follow back' in their bio.
Try and target those ones.
