A settlement was reached in both cases by February 2008.
Valued at $65 million.
However, in May 2010  was reported that ConnectU was accusing Facebook of securities fraud on the value of the stock that was part of the settlement and wants to get the settlement undone. According to ConnectU's allegations, the value of the stock was worth $11 million instead of $45 million that Facebook presented at the time of settlement.
This meant the settlement value, at the time, was $31 million, instead of the $65 million.
On August 26, 2010, The New York Times reported that Facebook shares were trading at $76 per share, making the total settlement value at close to $120 million.
The value will quadruple to over $466 million.

ye basically i need to sum this paragraph down for my business project on Mark Zuckerberg but the problem is i dont really understand it, so if anyone is able to explain it in simple english for someone who has never done business before and basically knows shit all about stock market thanks.

The Purpose Of a Settlement is allow both Parties to mediate the Lawsuit between lawyers & the Arbitrator (middleman) so to avoid expensive court litigation. Once the Settlement has been signed by all parties and approved by the court, it is then found to be "Legal & Binding" and thus cannot be revoked as explained in the following article:
