My profile picture for Facebook has always shown up, but just recently, it has been a question mark instead. I don't remember changing the privacy settings either. Can anyone help me?

That's happened to me before. I got an e-mail from Mark saying that my face was too ugly, so he had to replace it with a question mark.

I was wearing a paper bag.

A friend of mine had this problem, and i have had this problem, but we found two different solutions to this.

1. My friend, simply deleted his old picture, re-uploaded a new picture, set that as his profile picture, and done.

However,

2. Me. Well, i tried doing the above, and it didn't work for me, (well i did have additional problems at the time) so i simply contacted the Facebook help, and they fixed it for me real quick.

So, try step one. If not, then go with step 2.
