What are some good free apps for the iPhone 3G?

I'm gonna get an iPhone today and one of the apps I really want to get is Surviving High School.
Besides that I want to know if there are any other apps for free I can download. (I'm going to get the 2GB)
I use Facebook a lot so how should I download that? On the iPad, I use Facely HD so I don't know if it's the same for iPhone.

on the iPhone, the facebook is just called "Facebook", it's the official facebook app. Facebook also made another app called "Messenger" which is pretty much an app for facebook messages, even though the main app has messages too, but it can be glitchy :/. I don't really think there is any other facebook app for the iPhone.

There are some pretty cool apps for free, just go to the Top Apps and scroll down, I usually find some cool ones there. You can get trial versions of Angry Birds/Cut the Rope, but they're only trial so there are only a few levels. But they're still fun . Depending on what kind of game you like, there are different apps I would recommend, but you'll definitely find something in the top 50

One app that I really like is Tap Tap Revenge, the whole series. It's like Guitar Hero/Rock Band on the iPod! You can buy more popular songs with real money, but they also have free songs that are popular sometimes too. Just search Tap Tap Revenge in the app store, and you'll see them
