Should I talk to him on facebook?

There is this guy who works as a vendor at the farmers market that I have been volunteering at.
He is handsome, friendly, and seems to be flirtatious. We have spoken off and on, nothing too personal, but enough to know each other's names and have casual conversation.
I am really interested in getting to know him better.
When looking up his family restaurant's facebook page, I found his profile, so I know he has a facebook. I was just wondering if it would be weird to send him a message and chat him up? Or should I just keep trying to talk to him every weekend and see where that gets me?

It wouldn't be weird to add him on facebook. It would only be weird if you commented on his every post, go thru his old pictures, etc. but just adding and chatting him up is fine.

it's not weird... just say hey its me! from the store!" or whatever... tell him you wanna get to know him better. Based on his reaction you can decide whether or not he's interested
