Posting a facebook app?
I made a program on visual basic that I want to put onto facebook, but I tried and it wouldn't load. My best guess is that I need a host to keep my app running? Is this true and if so, do you know of any company's that host facebook apps?

Yes you will need a server to host your app. Facebook is merely the front to show off and share you app. The guts need to be hosted on a server. For your app to work properly, and for facebook to accept the app's server. It will need to be a TLD (Top Level Domain).
Although there are several options to choose from, I have always liked JustHost hosting services. There have been around for over 6 years, so you know there not going anywhere. Their customer service is prompt and accurate. Their servers are fast and reliable. This link will pass you onto their 'Secret Page', where you can get a code for 20% discount. The page is part of their site, not a third party site. They do change that page around often, so if they have switched their pages around, look for the 'Secret Link' in their links footer of the page. It's their little joke to see if anyone actually reads the bottom of the page. http://bit.ly/eXQNkI Another option is Hosting24 . Like JustHost, slightly cheaper though, with less experienced years. The are $4.84 a month, and the link provided, will allow you to save $2 a month. So you are only paying $2.84 a month for unlimited hosting. If the effect is not automatic, then enter the coupon code --> #2off http://bit.ly/f7YJuU Recap: - Unlimited Traffic - Unlimited Space - Unlimited Domains All for only $3 or $4 a month. JustHost --> http://bit.ly/eXQNkI Hosting24 --> http://bit.ly/f7YJuU couponCode: #2off Feel free to contact me, through my profile page, if you have any follow up questions. Cheers, Gitlez Ads |
