Guy tweeted something weird while we were talking about a hangout? (We're both 16)?

To make a long story short, I'm going to some traditional event in my town wherein you have to bring a date and spend the night together and so some traditional stuff...

So I'm going with this guy and who I just met recently and he was asking me if we could meet again sometime so it won't be awkward on the actual night itself.

We're not following each other on twitter but he tweeted something like "what if I accidentally said lets make out instead of let's hang out...awkward **** haha" while he we were talking (his twitter is public so I can see it lol)

What does that mean? Anyone?

Maybe he likes you and finds it awkward (he might think you don't like him) I can't tell you from experience (never had a boyfriend :/ ) but I have had a few years of people around me dating other guys and talking about it and telling the signs and stuffs. Maybe confront him. If he continues to act strangely, or drop hints about him liking you, you should just ask him how he feels. It shouldn't make things awkward.
