What Facebook permissions do I need for my app?
So basically my website hosts cover photo images and my app uploads the image to the users facebook profile. The user then hasto select the image and set it manually as their cover photo as facebook doesn't support that action - but that is fine.
My issue is that when users click to use the process, the next screen is (if they haven't used the app before) http://i45.tinypic.com/262xfz9.jpg When they click 'go to app' it doesn't then ask for any other permissions. It just posts the photo without permission, leaving them to have to approve the posting: http://i46.tinypic.com/bvo6s.jpg Here are the permissions of a similar service that works how I want mine to work: http://i46.tinypic.com/kbu5vt.jpg Their service has another page after clicking 'Go to app'. Here is a comparison of how our apps appear once used on a users timeline: http://i50.tinypic.com/33ze2oo.jpg You can see my app is the picture on the bottom. It shows up only after he has manually approved the image. The top app was auto approved and hence posted to his timeline automatically - "via covermyfb". It would then also appear as mine currently does. So it would show once for being uploaded and again once it was changed to a cover photo. So what do i need to change here: http://i46.tinypic.com/bg6zie.jpg To get the same results as 'covermyfb' app does? Thank you for any help. - Dan Ads |

Refer to a local technician. Believe me, the extra money will be well worth it. It's no use to you if the system is buggy.
