Stolen phone help please?
My phone got stolen a week ago and i'm just wondering, i have a password on my phone but not on the sim card. The thief wont be able to go on my phone right? And i blocked the sim card too.

After it got stolen, someone added me on facebook and apparently i sent him a friends request but i dont know him. So im wondering if it got to do with my phone and the thief. Maybe the thief got into my phone?

If 'blocking the SIM' = call the provider and have the SIM blocked, then yes, the thief won't be able to use the SIM.

However, 'password on the phone' can mean a lot of things, depending on which type of phone we're talking about here (Android, iOS, Win, something else), and whether we're talking about a password for the phone or a password for an app or a password for e.g. facebook access - and in any case, any password can be cracked. Some faster, some slower.

When your phone was stolen you should have notified your carrier so the can stop service. Some companies are able to remote lock or wipe information if on contract. Not sure about prepaid. What you should do is go to all of your accounts and change the password and sign out of emails ,Facebook and all other social sites you may have accounts for. If you store media on a cloud storage you should change the password. Also last tell the carrier the problem and see what they are able and willing to help with. A password and pattern locks can be bypassed by factory resetting the cell. Notifying your carrier and changing passwords is your best option now to prevent unauthorized use. I hope that helps and good luck.
