Facebook on Blackberry Pearl?

I was wondering if the notifications (someone wrote on your wall, someone commented on your picture, someone sent you a private message, etc) use SMS text messages or if they use internet kb/mb? If anyone knows any information on this topic, please post as much as possible! I want to keep facebook notifications coming to my blackberry pearl, but I don't want to keep my unlimited internet access.

When sending notifications such as the ones you listed above, facebook mobile uses texts (ie. SMS) to send the notifications to you. Reply to them using facebook mobile texts also uses SMS.

The only way you use your phone's internet is if you access the site by going to m.facebook.com from your mobile phone browser.
