Can you see your "other" messages folder using the facebook mobile app?

I sent a message to someone who isn't my friend on facebook. I didn't want to pay the dollar to have it sent to his inbox, so it got sent to his "other" folder. Will he even know that it exists if he's using his phone?

He has to scroll down the Messages to see the Other folder if he access FB via mobile site, and it's shown in top if he access FB via full site. The problem is with people, they only see what they accustomed to see, even it's up there, many don't see it.
