What does it mean when your facebook account is disabled?

I tried to login to my facebook but I typed in the wrong password a couple of times and then it said your facebook account has been disabled what does that mean and now I can't get back in?

You'll have to wait - your account is currently locked, because of security reasons.

Your best to go to facebook and press ''forgot password'' & reset it

This means facebook disabled your account you cannot able to use it anymore unless you send a request email to facebook to enable your account.
