Question about Facebook groups privacy?

I'm in a group on Facebook and my posts go to my whole friends list. Could I make it so only people in the group can see it and people in my friends list can't?

You can but not sure all. However, almost everything people could see on Facebook.

if it's an open group, then no, you cant do that

the only thing you can do is add some of your friends to your restricted list, and then those people wont see your activity
