How to go online on Facebook app?

On my facebook app it says im offline for chat. How do I go online so people know?

depends on what youre using the app on.... and what app it is...

on a blackberry you press the menue button then scroll to go online

on an iphone you should have the option in the corner somewhere

if you go offline on the internet whilst connected on your phone it wont let you go online sometimes... log on with a computer as your phone is on it... may help out
