Facebook has a nearly unenforced one profile per person policy. If you create five profiles from the same computer, they assume you are a troll and enforce the policy then.

it is against the rules to create more than one facebook account - and as you can see, they can detect it when you just ignore their rules
it has nothing to do with what browser you use, it's a combination of your IP address and your MAC address (the unique identifier for the device you are using) if you want to create 5 accounts, buy 5 computers |

it's not about dns problems or other, it's the 'intelligent algorithms' doing the job. it's generally like the email providers and social networks design these typo algorithms for detection of multiple fake registrations. these software engineers sit hours and hours with their coffee mugs designing these intelligent algos. for eg. when your routine includes logging in to check your email at 1100 in place A, and if you login through a different location B, they would ask you to provide a verification.
