Twitter Interactions?
I'm new on Twitter...
I clicked on interactions, and a few people are listed on there who ask me to RT and follow...they will follow back. So, what does this mean? Is it like chatting? How did they find me, I don't know them... Ads |

On Twitter you have a thing called a 'timeline' where all your tweets are displayed to you. If you 'follow' someone their tweets appear there too. If they 'follow' you your tweets appear on their timeline.
You don't have to be friends to do that as Twitter is all public unless the user actually locks their account. So you can follow anyone - actors, politicians, singers or ordinary people, whatever. If you want to chat with someone put their twittername in your tweet and it will show up in their interactions. People on Twitter are always looking for new followers so they often just follow followers of followers or people with the same keywords in their profile. Probably how they found you. RT stands for retweet which simply means 'copy this tweet into my timeline so my followers can see it'. Hope that helps. Ads |
