Is My YouTube Channel Good Enough?
Hello Everyone! It's "Kool" Will (My ''persona'' that I adopt on YouTube), and my videos focus mainly on next-gen and gaming news. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in checking out my channel and giving me some feedback. I'm interested in knowing how I can promote my videos. I have a Facebook, Twitter account/page. Is there any good forums I could post in? So far I only use "HubofGamers". Feel free to subscribe if your interested, the content is in HD and I use a clear, good-quality mic. Stay Kool!

You have a good amount of videos, so that's good. Start commenting on other people's channels. Create video responses. Just create a lot of content. Towards the end of a video, create tabs that allow viewers to automatically click to another video. With the internet, you kind of have to spoon feed people.

Sign up for all the main social media networks and integrate them - twitter, facebook, youtube, google+, pinterest, tumblr. Just twitter and facebook are not enough. Also starting a website or blog would be good (you can get a non-self-hosted blog for free so that might be a good idea to start off with. Whenever you post ANYTHING, make sure you post it on all your networks. Wordpress is great for this, because most of their themes allow you to add tons of social media buttons, and even automatically have some social media networks post for you whenever you update.

The idea is to post one thing on as many platforms as possible and CROSS PROMOTE!!

Pinterest is a great little tool... you just have to choose images that are interesting, beautiful, or somehow compelling - something people would want to look at and share (you can take screen shots of your videos). You can upload these images from your site or blog, or you can upload an image of your youtube video straight from youtube onto pinterest. Then, when someone clicks on the image itself it will take them to the website where the image is originally posted (i.e. your youtube video). You just have to make sure that these images are something that will get people's attention!

So for example, post a video on youtube, post it on your site/blog with a little blurb. Then upload the image from youtube and your site onto pinterest. Then facebook and tweet that. On facebook, people have studied this and you really need to post something several times (3-7) for people to click on it. So this is actually good, because if you have your accounts linked, you upload a video to youtube and it automatically posts on facebok. Then, a couple hours later, you upload it to your site/blog, and it automatically posts it on facebook. You post the screenshots on pinterest, you can also promote that on facebook. You tweet your pinterest screenshot photos, this also gets updated on facebook. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

Tweet your youtube channel comments. Tweet your video responses. post them on Facebook, google+ and blog. then tweet, pin, and tumblr it.

Also, for videos, there are ways of promoting videos both on youtube and google to jump-start it's traction and popularity and to make it go viral. This takes a little more skill and knowledge, but basically you need to integrate views with all your social media networks and promote it to death. The more competitive the market, the more you'll need to promote.
