Girl playing hard to get or not interested at all ?

Hi,
Recently I've met a very beautiful girl on facebook. We chat constantly, but the problem is that I always initiate the conversation first... I don't know, maybe it's because i rarely go online on fb. Additionally, when she's online, and when I send her a message she replies instantly in few seconds??? Also she uses a lot of smiles in each sentence, and signs like this: * :_*... Haha etc.. And few days back, I've send her a pm saying.... Hey girl are you still alive because I've decided not to send her messages for a week., and her response was: I'm a live, but you have apparently dissapeard :-)... I've always been good with girls and I didn't have any problem with communication, but this girl is driving me nuts. My biggest concern is I don't know whether she likes me or not :/??? Because if she keeps messing with my head just out of politeness, I'm just wasting my precious time... What the hell should I do ? Should I ask her whether she likes me directly, because I do not want to be weirdo and talk to her if the interest is not mutual...,I will do appreciate all of your answers and suggestions regarding this issue.

Hi, there. Frankly, girls do like it when guys initiate the conversation first as it shows how much they care and want to strike a conversation. It also proves whether he's interested or not. That's about it!

To put in a perspective, she might be playing hard to get with you, to see how much effort you're gonna put in and how far you'll try to reach her. On the other hand, it also depends on her routine. She might be just, busy - which is less probable as you two have been chatting constantly. Perhaps, instead of stalking her, you can casually check out her social activities (e.g. check her timeline, ask her to share more about her group of friends etc.). Hopefully, you're able to deduce her feelings towards you eventually.

And yea, the best solution is for you to ask her directly, which would be the bravest thing to do. At the same time, you'll be able to get an answer to clear your mind. Do it once and for all, and you'll never be wandering too much. That if, you don't want to waste any more of your 'precious time'... If you realize that it might be too soon/rush to ask, perhaps, you can ask her number since you 'rarely go online on fb'. Well, she seems friendly and cheerful, so why not? (: Take it gradually and go with the flow until things become much clearer and keep things neutral.
