Help with facebook accounts?

hi,I had a facebook account but i forgot the password of it.
So i did another one , with the same email.
Months later (now) i just cancelled the account hoping that the other one will cancel too, cause they have the same email , but it didn`t .
Do you have any idea of how can i cancel it?

send a reset password email? or just leave it.

open ur facebook account
go to account settings
click deactivate account
choose permanently

if you go to the log in page of facebook and look under where you would normally put your password there is a bit that says 'forgot you password?' Click on that and i think it will send you an e-mail either telling you your password or giving you a code to put in.
