Why is Flappy Bird being removed from the app store?

Is anyone sure of the exact reason? Seems a bit strange. Some rumors are flying around that it's due to legal threats by Nintendo over stolen graphics. However, the creator said on twitter "It is not anything related to legal issues. I just cannot keep it anymore."

It's because the developer of the game is getting overwhelmed with hateful comments about the game. The developer is pretty much done and just wants to end it.

The other guy is right. But some people think he's just saying it so more people download it right now and that he's gonna "change" his mind tomorrow.
