Everyone around me is depressed?
So let me start off by saying I've been really depressed I'm always depressed because of loneliness self esteem etc but i realized my life isn't so bad because ugh who cares about appearance plus i love being alone and with friends so there's balance so it's been getting better and i'm usually happy now and i can feel myself being up lifting.

But 2014 comes around and the first day i stay up till 5am talking my friend out of suicide not your usual teenage bluffing but serious suicide and i helped her out of it but she still just gets really sad and things like this with her have been going on for a full year and my other friend is always depressed it's less severe but i am always helping everyone with their problems and depression and it's really bringing me down they all have pretty serious problems and whatever or how much i try their depression never gets better and it's gone to the point where i just wanna shut off all social media and be with my family instead

then schools coming around and someone is trying to start drama with me and i really don't need this it's really pissing me off I'm trying to be happy but everyone around me is just so depressed and it's been going on for years i'm always helping people with their problems and sometimes the problems are so fixable but people just cannot try and i'm so tired of being everyone's little therapist and having to listen to their problems can you please shut up for a goddamn minute and appreciate nature or something jeez. And i just don't know what to do cause i can't just stop helping people i feel like i have a responsibility and im sure they might kill themselves without anyone helping them and i just really don't wanna talk to anyone at school cause they're just all gonna bitch and moan and talk about some stupid petty drama that isn't even necessary in our age

Advice for you and you could print copies of this for others:

If you are a teen, remember that the teen years are the absolute worst time of life. I am surprised any of us survive it. You are struggling with so much stress, pressures, changes... Your body and mind are trying to cope but ... its hard, dealing with unpredictable hormones and roller coaster emotions.

The brain is a very complicated and delicate thing. It can get messed up and be unable to produce sufficient serotonin. This is called a chemical imbalance which is easily treated, very common and nothing to be ashamed of.

It can cause depression, anxiety, panic, obsession, self harm/self hatred, suicidal thoughts, eating disorders, sleeping problems, aggression/rage, anger, phobias, fears, helplessness, hopelessness, hypochondria, ADHD, paranoia, OCD, headaches, lack of interest in things, lack of motivation/ focus and much more.

According to those who have gone to therapists, counseling and therapy dont help much. They are not even allowed to prescribe appropriate meds to help you get better.

Tell a dr. about your problems and ask him for anti-depressants. Zoloft/Sertraline is a good one; most people thrive on it and it has no side effects. It enables the brain to function property.

With the right antidepressants, you will be much better, happier, calmer, confident, relaxed and feel normal. What a difference it makes!! You need them, so stay ON them.
