Computer freezes on Facebook.com?
So, Last night, I was using Facebook just fine. And it was working without any problems. Turned off my computer, and then turned it on today, now my computer completely freezes whenever I even go to the sign in page of Facebook. Using Windows Vista on a Studio xps.
And no, I haven't downloaded anything lately.
Also, tried clearing cookies, did an index file check. neither helped.

I've tried using Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Apple Safari. So it's not the browser.
When I said I cleared the cookies, I wiped the cookies, temp files, and history on it already.

I do have Java and I'm pretty sure I have adobe flash. I might try to remove them and see what transpires

Try deleting your history, temp files, and cookies. Click on tools. Scroll to bottom and click Internet Options. Check the box Delete Browsing History on exit. Click ok. Restart you computer.

Try flushing the junk directories in your system by using some trusted softwares like Ccleaner which will help flush all such junk files which prevent access sometimes and even land your system in trouble at times. After clearing all such junk files from Internet and System directories, restart your system and try checking it. Your problem will get resolved to the maximum probability.
