Facebook app on my itouch?

So I just got my itouch and now everytime I try and chat on my facebook app it goes back to the start page??

Helpppp please.

start page as in the Facebook page or the ipod app screen page? If you are talking about the ipod app screen then you may have to verify your application. Just go on to itunes -> application screen -> double click Facebook and verify it.
