Media/Social studies, teaching, jobs?
Could I be a media/social studies teacher and not have to teach English or something?, because I want to be just a media/social studies teacher and nothing else

Yes.

However, you will deal with english on papers.

Bad news: There are not a lot of Social Studies jobs. And there are lots and lots of applicants for each job.

Media: fewer jobs and earlier cuts.
