What's wrong with my e-commence Marketing?
Hi

I set up a Web store selling boutique style high fashion pet apparel. Products including: designer dog clothing, dog collars, dog shoes, dog toys, dog carriers and luxury dog bedding. I have been working on the SEO and social media marketing. According to Alexa, my site ranking was 7,900,000 global rank in May, and one month later it is 1,731,951. I set up all kinds social media account, and offer Freebie give away. However, my conversion rate is still very low. Can someone take a look and give me some suggestion?

Regards,

Vivie

Oh, gosh. Where to begin?

When I reached your page, I was hit with all your drop-down black menus. There's too wide an area next to each of the tabs ("Shop by Style," "Shop by Product") that triggers the drop-downs. Then the drop-down obscures a lot of the page. Usually, two drop down. For instance, position your cursor between "Shop by Price Range" and "Site Help" and see what happens.

The pop-up coupon is annoying, too, and obviously just a transparent attempt to capture the user's e-mail.

You've set your first page up like a catalog. Wrong. Set it up like a home page. Keep the catalog items on your other pages.

You're overdoing it with all the social media links on the site. People will click on those if they see value in your site and want to let others know about it. But you're almost yelling at them to click on all of those before you've given them anything of value.

You're losing a huge amount of screen real estate with all your clutter. There's the black bar at the bottom. The pop-out for the coupon on the right. The social media bar on the left. The social media buttons on the upper right. Simplify and open up more space.

The copy describing the different items isn't effective. I randomly went to http://www.puppycircle.com/shop-by-style...s-pattern/ The copy sounds like it was the description in a wholesaling catalog written by someone who isn't a native English speaker.

The ordering process itself is tedious.

You're offering no useful content to potential buyers. Instead, you've focused too much on packing your copy with keywords. And, again, it sounds as if whoever wrote the copy isn't comfortable with the English language. Here's a sample paragraph:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As a business, Puppy Circle stock and sell some of the highest quality and unique clothing made specifically for dogs. Currently, Puppy Circle work with a wide and varied selection of suppliers to allow consumers to purchase dozens of unique items. Some of the stock currently for sale on the official Puppy Circle website include designer dog clothing, dog collars, dog shoes, dog toys, dog carriers and designer dog bedding. While the quality of items found on Puppy Circle are made of only the best quality materials, Puppy Circle try to cut down on the costs associated with them. - See more at: http://www.puppycircle.com/press-release...N3XHs.dpuf
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm not even going to try to count how many times you jammed in "dog" and "puppy" in this part of one paragraph.

Conclusion: Make the website user-friendly. Fix the annoying drop-down menus. Clean off some of the screen real estate. Provide useful content to potential buyers.

Hope that helps.

Try keeping everything simple, concise, and straight to the point. The consumer just wants to search for their products, find it and purchase. No clutter, no hassle. I found this site for example and its very straight to the point and still manages to keep the purchaser aware of key details: http://www.ravishingcreations.com/#!prod...-cozy-bed-

Hope that helped.

Hello,

I fully agree with Donald. He has answered precisely about designing and other elements on the webpage. But I would like to draw your attention on Google Panda and things the like that play crucial role in making your website visible on the top SERPs.

Do you follow 70-30 Rule?
Did you mind Panda? (Panda update 25 would work more on eComm sites, mind it!)
Did you segment what's hot products and what are general?
Did you take help of Google analyzing your site?

Well, SEO is too deep to learn. Ideally, you must follow the onpage element settings (as Donald said) and off page what I recommend. You may find this blog useful....it typically speaks about SEO tips and tricks for eCommerce websites

The site looks maybe a bit too simple/bare? I don't really feel confident buying from a first glance. Maybe add a banner at the top with promotions or a small introduction to your shop?

Give your website to SEO Expertise so please visit below website which will help you grow up your business.
