Not in the right category but I need help.?
I recently moved into a new place. I rent a room off this man landlord. He lives here as well, as do 3 other females. Including myself. He was never bad the first month I was here, but now he tells me if I sleep with him he won't charge me rent, he has sent me "dick pics" over Facebook. He has recently started to try and come into my room, he did before by "accident" and I didn't have any pants on he saw, and he comments on that often, how he thinks about it and would like to see it again. I'm not sure what to do, I have to live here, I have also been searching for a new place to live. Do I let him get close enough and have my dog go at him? I'm not even supposed to have her in the province of Ontario. He only does this to me. And I don't know what to do!!!

Tell him that he needs to stop or you'll report him. I don't know if you can actually report him or not, but a threat like that will let him know that your serious about him stopping.

Get video audio. Copy everything. Every contact. keep it on a disc and other media forms in case your computer goes down. Ask him to stop. If you are apying rent there should be laws about him kicking you out w/o 30 days notice. So when you call the cops you have 30 days.

I would not sic the dog on him. He might get nasty ideas toward the dog and you might come home some day and find your dog missing. Get an inexpensive lock on the door immediately so that when you are home, you can latch it - the hook kind.

Move out asap. I would not even give this guy proper notice. Your life is at stake. Yours and your dog's. After you move, I would immediately report him to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. File the complaint at their website (http://www.hud.gov/complaints/) or by calling them at 800-333-4636. HUD will investigate your report and inform the landlord that the investigation is taking place.
