Apprenticeship Query - Worries about applying?
I've been tempted to go on a web development and social media apprenticeship, but I've always been put off because I don't know what I need in terms of qualifications/skills etc. I don't have any formal qualifications in web development, but I have made a few personal websites for myself using HTML5, CSS3, PHP, MySQL, and a few others. I'm a beginner when it comes to PHP, MySQL, and other major scripting languages, but I have a keen interest in web development. Also, I have some basic experience with CMS such as Wordpress.
Would I be able to confidently apply for an apprenticeship only having a keen interest in web development, and a few basic websites under my belt? I know apprenticeships are all about training whilst working within the chosen industry, but I'm just curious where I stand. Thanks Ads |

Add JavaScript to your portfolio (HTML5, CSS3, PHP, MySQL) and you are done!
