I just got an android and I downloaded the facebook app for it. I wanted to know if there was anyway I could get notifications from facebook to my phone. like to have my phone vibrate if someone writes on my wall for example

go to facebook on your phone, go to notifications and go into settings - it will all be there

yes you can, go to settings (when facebook is open) by pushing the menu button on your phone, then scroll down and select the "vibrate" option to make it vibrate on incoming notifications
