How can I attract people who have similar interests?

Friendship-wise not dating. Although I wouldn't mind the latter. I have trouble making friends in general, but especially finding someone who has similar interests. I feel like it would help if we had something in common. I'm a 19 year old female. I play bass guitar, I love attending concerts, and I mainly listen to classic rock. I can't find anyone who shares my musical taste or love for instruments. I live in a small Illinois town and I'm yearning for friendship. Does anyone have suggestions on where I can find these types of people or how? I want my partner in crime!

Yh its really rare too find cuZ my mates dont hav the same song choices as meh buh wa u cud do is like if u hav fb or twitter or sumit then just share ur interests on their and if someone like likes it inbox them or evn.if they comment. I dont hav the same song choice as most ppl buh i prefer to be different
