My Phone Number On Instagram?
Ok so I just got instagram.. I didn't put my phone number in on my profile on Instagram does that mean my contacts on my phone wont know I have Instagram?

Yes. Even if you put in your number, Instagram won't contact your contacts to tell them you have an account.
