My laptops cursor jumps around while typing?

Every day I deal with this annoying thing. ill be typing sometimes and the word will stop and it will appear before what I was typing when signing in on emails or facebook etc. I type the username and then password and the password will have a few letters then it bounces up and ill see the rest of the letters on my username. this is soooooo annoying. especially when I was filling out job applications a while back. it also sometimes goes back a page.. please someone help me fix this
I don't see any box that says touch to click or tap to click I see turn on click lock

Are you resting your hand on the laptop's touchpad? Many laptops have a button or key to turn it off temporarily. Otherwise, just make sure your hands don't rest on the touchpad.
