Well - there are 3 ways. And both works well.

1st is to use Google AdWords, Twitter Ads, Facebook Ads to gain quick sales.

2nd is to use some kind of referral system to convert your existing users as promoters.

3rd is to use give open source platforms quick try as "demo" servers. If you're wondering how look at RackSpace or Linode.

The best is that everything works at same time and doesn't cut other ways.
