Facebook, creating a group?

I have thoughts on creating a new Facebook group. I believe it will be original and very successful. How do I create a group on Facebook? Also any other tips relevant to making a Facebook group/page will also help me a great deal and will be finely appreciated.

at the bottom of ur screen u will see two heads..click that...then at the top of the next page it says Create Group.

i bet ur group will fail. geez u dont even know HOW to start it hahaha

At the bottom of your browser window, there is a task bar - not your usual grey taskbar, but the one that opens at the bottom of the browser window. Facebooks taskbar. On there it says 'Applications' first, and then after it are some symbols. You want the one with two heads. Hover over it, and it should say 'Groups'. Click on it, and then you will see a grey button saying 'Create Group' on the near top right of your screen. There you go! Just fill in the details.

Your Facebook group can have just what you want on it! A really nice, attractive main picture will be good though - as will a thorough description of what the group is about. Good wall posts from the admin (you) on the Groups wall to inform members of news is always good too.

I bet your group will be great! I'd love to see it. I have Facebook too. I created a group called 'Dancing With Your Cat', for people who like dancing with their cats. Hahaha! Only two members, though

Red - what a snotty thing to say. Perhaps, unlike you, Zach doesn't spend every moment living on facebook.

Though her reply was rude that is how you start it. I recently made one up for my high school graduating class.

Message me your name and location and I'll add you as a friend, Zach, since I know you have a really good heart when it comes to cats Plus I have something really funny I know you'll love to see!

Click the group icon in your bookmarks (If you have kept it). When the new page opens, you will get an option to create a group page on the top right corner

OR

Go to your Profile. Click 'Info'. Click 'See All' to see all your groups. You'll get an option to make a group under you profile pic on the new page

Everything else is easy. If you like, search for the group 'Have you ever met an idiot?' and join it. If possible, also invite all your friends

Bear in mind that if you want to be anonymous as the administrator you should create a fan page instead of a group. If not, then a group is OK.
