Please help me on instagram.?

Someone send me a video on instagram. Im using ipad. And ive got a notification. But i deleted the notification (on the ipad) when i open my instagram, i cant see any video. I asked the one who send me the video, he said he send it through DM, but i cant find the messages or inbox on instagram,

Have you updated the app?

go to the appstore
at the bottom of the screen click updates
either find instagram
or click update all
wait for it to load
reopen instagram
and find the direct message inbox at the top right corner of your followers picture feed.
