Why did Facebook pages change to likers instead of fans?
I mean are some people saying, "well I like that, but I'm not a fan of it"? I mean I'm just wondering. I like that they have, for example 2 of your friends like this. I didn't see it when they had the fan thing. Anyone know why they changed it? I'm just curious.

Not sure why they changed it but the become a fan thing was to mostly groups and major corporations. Like was always used for when you had a friend like something on your wall. I guess that they changed it up to be more user friendly and English friendly as the terminology can become a bit screwy for new English speakers...
Become a fan? Become a thing that moves air? QUE? Lol Ads |

"To improve your experience and promote consistency across the site, we've changed the language for Pages from "Fan" to "Like." We believe this change offers you a more light-weight and standard way to connect with people, things and topics in which you are interested."

Personally I'd rather become a fan than like something, but I guess it is more user friendly now. |
