i cant enable facebook timeline?

i go the "about timeline" page (http://www.facebook.com/about/timeline) , but i see nothing that lets me enable it, and i dont know how to enable it and im starting to get really frustrated.
i tried all of this, i remeber a while ago, there was a thing at my profile that was saying something about timeline, but i clicked the "X" on it and now i see NO buttons ANYWHERE that ask me if want to do timeline, ive been to other pages, and the bottom of the "about" page.

Under search type Facebook timeline. And that page will show u how.

go to a friends page that actually has the timeline and there should be a green button that says learn more or try it out. hope that works for you because thats what i did

If you scroll down to the very bottom of the page, there should be a section saying how many of your friends have timeline, and some button that says get timeline now. I'm not sure why it shouldn't be working...

I already have timeline, so i can't screenshot what it looked like for me.

Many users reported that they still don't have the green button to upgrade to Timeline. Some of them tried different browsers and computers but the button still wasn't there. As members from the same family using the same computer had different results, this can only mean that the upgrade is not yet available for some users.

A good way to go about it is to try once a day until the button appears
