What do you want in a book promotion blog? ( For self-publishing authors)?
My cousin is starting a self-publishing website where people can submit their books and the company promotes them on Facebook, Twitter, Google +, and other numerous sites for a small price of five dollars. I do not know how he's going to do this but I want to help him and I would like to know what self-publishing authors or publishing authors may need from a publishing website

Yahoo Answers is a place to gain knowledge, not customers, page views, or dates. If you have years of experience in something, have a special hobby, own your own business, or if you are a knowledge partner, it's OK to accompany a good, on-topic answer with a link to your website, blog, or email to offer more information. However, it is not OK to post links that are unrelated to the topic or are clearly meant only to solicit others for personal and financial gain. Also prohibited are solicitations like "Will you add me as a contact?" or propositioning people.

Actually I think it's a legit question. However I'm unclear on one thing. Is the cousin PUBLISHING the novels and then promoting them, or is he PROMOTING them only? Those are two different things.
As to what do self publishing authors want in regards to promotion? Good in depth detailed reviews of their novels. |
