Facebook for blackberry app not working?

i downloaded the app, but everytime i try to sign in it tells me it couldn't reach facebook and to try at a later time.
It is also saying the same thing with my twitter app.
help?

you most probably need to upgrade your firmware:

also check that the face book and twitter app u have r the ones compatible with your particular device

Ok, try a few things. Delete both the Facebook app and the Twitter app. Restart the phone and then re-download both apps. Sign in again and try to use it. If it still does the same thing, then it might just be a faulty app. Look for others. Check the user reviews. If its too glitchy, just use the browser. Hope this helped!
