Deleted Emails Keep Reappearing?

Well, I was just waiting on hold with Yahoo tech support for 2 1/2 hours and then got disconnected. I have had this problem for several months. Whenever I delete either a single or a group of emails, they often reappear in my inbox, either immediately or minutes later. If I then try to delete them again, I get no response, so I have to refresh the browser with F5 to get them to delete again. This is very annoying because I like to sort by sender when mass deleting emails.

I have read all the postings online but cannot find a solution. It seems to be a common problem. I have tried different browsers, versions of browsers, deleting cookies, cache and histories all to no avail. Even my brand new laptop has the problem.

The only possible solution I have seen in Yahoo support is for some type of back end workaround by Yahoo admin staff, but I haven't seen any responses from the OP as to whether that worked or not.

Please, can someone help?

For some problems only Yahoo can resolve them....this seems to
