How can you add Places to an existing Facebook Page?

There is already a page for the restaurant I work at, but my boss wants to add Facebook Places to it. Is there anyway to add it to that page or combine the page with an existing "Place" for the restaurant because over 50 people already like the one page? If it is possible, is there anyway to give people discounts if they check in, like a coupon system or something?
