If you don't want it showing, you could download an app for face book, called "facebook purity"
face book don't like you using it though, as it also blocks all their adverts and lots of other useless junk that clutters up your timeline
You can get it here

it will automatically find the browser you are using, just download and install.Its totally safe to use

Once you reached the friend limit, ie, 5000 friends in Facebook ``People You May Know`` section will be remove by Facebook
