Usually there are back end apps that are running. Maybe its because of that. u do know that recieving anything on whatsapp or facebook alsomakes your internet turn on by itself,
you need to turn off all apps

Their are lots of apps which connects to their respective servers themselves at a regular interval of time. That is the reason you balance is deducted against usage of data charges.

To avoid such thing please disable your data connection when not in use.

Or you can opt for data plans which are very cheap these days starting from Rs 100 approx per month which gives you data usage up to 2 gb per month.

That internet keeps running if you keep the data storage or connection enabled. Disable it and check.
