New social media sites for 2013?

So I've been done with Facebook for almost 2 years now, twitter never caught on with me because I couldn't get followers, and Instagram seems to be very slowly dying. So what are some new social media sites for 2013 or sites that just could make a big boom? I tried Pheed, it was good but got boring, I checked back and it used to be posts every 3 minutes now it's every 10. I guess other people thought the same.

I'm 13 so I of course want to be involved in social media. Could you recommend some sites? (I'm a boy)
