Facebook crisis!? (Privacy)?

I know there's a way to make your facebook account completely "iinvisible" from the rest of the world, and anyone that's not your friend.
how do I do that?
i know there was a button for it in the old privacy settings, but i don't know how to do it now!
I want to make it so that no one knows/can see that i have a facebook account except for the people on my friend's list.
please help! please and thank you!

if you dont want anyone to see your account, then delete it.
i dont think it has a use if you want to be invisible "from the rest of the world"

Click "account" at the top right hand corner and then click "privacy settings" on the drop down menu. Then click "customise settings" in blue writing with a pencil icon next to it and then switch everything to "friends only".

Account-->Privacy Settings-->Basic Directory Information :View settings-->Search for me on Facebook
change as 'only friends'.
