Having some trouble with my best friend?

My BFF moved away a few years ago to England, to attend boarding school, and it was very very sad for us both - but we've been communicating by email since. Every week we email each other and we always reply within at least five days. We tell each other about our lives, funny things that happened, pretty much everything.

Well we've been doing this for about 3 years now and this year, as always I replied to an email that she sent me, and I waited my usual five days. But she hasn't responded. And it's been two months. I sent her another email just incase perhaps she didn't get my first one, but she didn't respond. i then went on Skype one day and she was online and I said hello but she did not reply, and went offline soon afterwards.

But get this, I don't have Facebook but I was with my friend on her Facebook one day. I found my BFF's Facebook page and my friend convinced me to send her a friend request; she then gave me her Facebook password so that I could log onto her Facebook whenever I wanted and talk to my BFF. Well I sent my bff a friend request, and she accepted it after a few days. Can you believe it? Why did she accept but she hasn't responded to my Skype messages or emails? Clearly she's been online and has had time to get involved in the social networking.

I strongly feel she's ignoring me altho I have no reason why; perhaps I'm going overboard and she's just super busy? I don't know, just any advice? Should I just leave it alone and wait?

This happened to me except it was after a couple if months my BFF began to ignore me. I now haven't spoken to her for 7 months. Her loss. I know it's hard but if she ain't interested don't waste your time.
