Facebook help please?

So my wife has her facebook set up to where everything I do, she gets a notification. I get online she gets notified, my brother posts on my wall she's notified, my dad inboxes me she gets the message to. I'm curious how she did that. My daughter asked to have a Facebook and i want to have that on my account so i kno what she does. My wife said she doesn't remember how she did it. Can anyone help me out?

She Probably Has Get Notifications Turned on Which Probably Allows Her to Get Notified About All Of These Things On Each Profile if you Click on Friends you have the Option to Turn on Notifcations
