I cant get facebook timeline?

I have a new account its 1 day old because my other FB got hacked, when i go to the page called introducing timeline it has three buttons at the bottom that say s cover, stories and apps but not the green get timeline button that appears when i am logged out of FB on that same page,
Please help

you may need to build up your friends list first, as no one knows why it appears for some people and not others

clear your cache and cookies, log back in, and then go here

if you dont see the button, try a different browser - if that doesnt work either, that means you just have to wait for it

First, you must be logged on before you can access this option. Now on the top of the page that shows the news feed click on your name or where it says profile. It should show your profile as someone else was viewing it now it should give you the option to "Update to Timeline" or something like that. If it doesn't show it here then click on "edit profile" then you will be given the option again at the top of this web page.

timeline If this doesn't help then wait for few days because facebook will upgrade all the accounts to timeline view automatically.

Many users reported that they still don't have the green button to upgrade to timeline. Some of them tried different browsers and computers but the button still wasn't there. As members from the same family using the same computer had different results, this can only mean that the upgrade is not yet available for some users.

A good way to go about it is to try once a day until the button appears.
