I just started my freelance photography business I need advice!?
Hi there so I just started my freelance photography business and I just need help figuring out a way to advertise/get more clients. I want to target the local high schools to do prom pictures and senior portraits, but I have no idea how since I am not in high school anymore. I am in the East Bay Area I've had years of experience and it's a hobby of mine. I am hoping to find clients to take pics for baby showers, small events, family portraits, senior pics, and more. Yes, I have already made a Facebook and it isn't really helping because I don't know many people. Also the money I get I use for college so I really need help please since the semester begins soon!
So what do you suggest I do to get more clients?

Start friending everyone you can.

Like others pages.

Share tips for great pictures on your facebook page.

Call every school within a 100 miles and offer to save them $'s and share any sales with them.

As your nme spreads othrs will reach out to you and you can say - I'll do a profesional shoot for you for $100. Offer a cd and postings on facebook to them.

In my experience ones in your shoes will also do many free shoots for people. Girls especially love to be shot. Just go for outdoor shots etc.. so you can start building up images on Facebook - then those that you take pictures of and heir friends will start liking your page nd photos.

Whomever you talk to about the school shootings offer to give them a free family portrait.

Share pics of everyone you take on tumblr, Facebook and Flickr.

Thats my 2 cents - good luck!

Sometimes I get $0.01 cpc, which is one of the best deals I ever found.
