Facebook Wall Posts and Privacy?

When I write on my friend's profile walls it shows up in the main news feed for everyone to see. Is there a way to set this so that it only shows up on THEIR wall and nowhere else? If so please give me the exact step by step process I can use to set it to private.

There are a variety of settings you can explore to limit access to various posts and photos. I recommend this blog as a source of solutions that are explained pretty easily I think.

I also recommend http://www.socialock.net to everyone posting on any social networking site. It allows customized privacy within the same post even. So family can read half the post and friends can read the other half (and no one else can read any of it).
